& Provoking As PROMETHEUS & PANDORA Nor could the Earth Afford

Again To Withstand it.

We Enter Now The Belly of Our Particular Beast:

There was No Sheep Blacker than Prometheus.

Zeus could Never Quite Figure Out why this ORPHAN

Who was Discovered by Maidens like Moses after him

Bundled in a Basket, swaddled in Bandaged Cloth

& left Floating in a Pond where Leda’s Swans enfolded their

Wings around him until he could be claimed by the Gods.

A Small Spade had been Placed inside his Cradled Chamber,

The purpose of which was unknown, yet interpreted as perhaps

A Symbolic Clue to his ‘Destiny’, or rather

‘That Which Is Willed for One by the Gods’.

Maybe the

Symmetry Of Oblivion would be Shaped by his Hand,

A Spade in his Wrist the Equal to Thors’ Hammer in its

Thundering, if not Quixotic Quake.

Buried in its Most Suggestive Tender was that

PROMETHEUS WOULD BE A GROUNDBREAKER

If not a gardener otherwise.

One Maiden in particular, called ‘Amarasta’ was Very Clear

In her claim that upon finding him as an infant in the paddling float,

There were sparks of light going off around his head

As were they Flickering Playful Fireflies,

Darting In & Out of an Unfixed flame.

& She has Carried A Torch for Him Since!

Since He Was An Uncontainable Restless Sort, it pleased the

Gods of Olympus No End that Prometheus had Fallen

For PANDORA, & even MORE Important fallen INTO her.

Not Only Had He Finally Met His Match,

But his Mistress & Maestra as well. One, who like himself, could

Be neither easily Contained nor Bridled. And she would Prove

Tougher

To Tame than PEGASUS, his Beloved Feisty Steed,

Who tames himself while he grooms.

As Important To The Gods, She Would Keep His Head

Out Of The Clouds, Their Own Domain,

& Into His Own Besotted Climate

Where The Capriciousness of Love Makes A Slave

Even of Gravity’s Voluptuous Shivers.

Most Gods Feared HER!

She was held in the Dearest Esteem

By the father of the Lords & Ladies of Mount Olympus,

The same Zeus, and even the Lord of the Underworld

Emperor Hades, gave her Workings A Very Wide Berth.

One did not arrive at the position of Lord of the Underworld

By placing ones nose in a ladies business where it didn’t belong.

But ESPECIALLY a lady with a MAGIC BOX,

& The Power to Make Ashes OR Immortals of Men,

& From Whose Temperament the Phoenix Was Risen

From the Bowels of a Vengeance the Size of a Wrath,

Itself the Size of the Length of Eden & the Depths of Hell.

Hades would have known this when he learned from his brother

NEPTUNE, that the King of ALL Water Bodies Once Upon A Teardrop

Had LOST THE LAKES & Some of the Rivers he had Once Commanded

To Her As Part of A BET He’d LOST with the Wily Pandora & HAD to Settle

Forthwith

She Would Have Turned the Seas to Sandpaper & Ash

(& THEN Charged Him Double For The ‘Re-Claimed’ Land

& the Clean Up Costs)!

And As It Concerns Women, She Generally Leaves Them To Their Own Devices

(But Especially Electrical Which She Earns A LOT Of Revenue From)!

What Is Free Can Never Be Earned & Only What Is Sensibly Earned Can Ever Feel Free.

Look all you want for a NEW WORLD ORDER But Rest Assured that Even in Pandora’s

Palaces of Plenty there will Never Ever Be Found NEW WORLD H’ORDEURVRES!

& Neither Do Real Men Eat Clichés.

It was deeply inconvenient for the elusive Pandora that she would fall in love with the only

The Time wherewith he Meditated on the Problems of the World

(Though he never gave much thought wherewith to the werewolf however).

The Same Spirit of TIME that was for HER A Headless Horse was for HIM like

An Elastic Kitten Purring

Between his Palm & Pinkie In The Ring of His Evolving Sphere.

& While He Compensated as Best he could by Rubbing Her Feet (As ALL Goddesses Adore, but yet Which Upon Not All Insist)

& Calling her ‘PANDA’,

She would Forever Admit Jealousy about his Relationship with THE HOURS & SANDS THAT GOVERN THE MOVEMENT OF THE STARS & their Celestial Ghosts & Primordial Tenants.

Like with even most mortal women, TIME FOR PANDORA WAS A SPELL

SHE COULD NOT COMPEL to Wallow beneath the Weight of her own Wand.

Her vaunted TREASURE CHEST contained many Divine & Glorious things,

But The Cure For Time Was Not One of Them.

But the Orphaned He & the Earth Created One Another & Grew Up Together, and Time would Forever Regard Prometheus

As Among the Very Best Accidents that Ever Happened Upon it’s Crested Shell. Such Was Their Bond, That When He Swallowed Water, the Earth Would Spit Rain.

& When He Yawned, Night Would Fall to Darken the Lands of his Horizon

& To Disguise the Fact That His Feet Would Swell,

though as much from pride as the weight of his own standing.

To Understand Pandora was to Understand Someone with

Unlimited Power, but Limited Time, since Time is Her

Only True Nemesis, the Only Dragon SHE must Appease.

(She usually does this with Karats*).

Although to HER Mind, she Sees It Opposite,

That She Remains

A Princess on a Painted Carousel

Unlimited Time

But

Restricted Power,

A Leash who Must Fight for Every Hour

When the Clocks Are There to Tell

(Only a Pirate Sticks his Hand Deep inside a Well).

What The Torch Bearer Came To Realize As It Finessed

The Nature of his Situational Scenario was that As Far As He Could Surmise,

The Gist of the Jail Jinx was that

He wasn’t being detained for BREAKING the Law as much as for

DISRESPECTING IT.

& It Takes Even Portentous Practitioners A While to Navigate the Tissue Thin Difference

Hanging in the Balance Between the two, Whose Methods could never be Sabotaged by Strain.

For his Alleged Transgressions, Zeus could not Sentence

Prometheus to Hell because Lucifer told him Outright,

“Hell No!”

“End Of Story, His Legend Will NOT Extend Into My House”.

“If You Cannot Abide Him There, What Makes You Think

That I Would Think Any Different, Are You Not MY Father Too?”

Zeus had no comeback for this.

(So He Left A Brief Pause For Our Sponsor)!

Then,

Lucifer continued.

“Listen, You KNOW Him, He’ll Only Come Down Here,

Confuse All My Bitches, Charm My Snakes & Start Rearranging

My Furniture & YOU KNOW How Long It Took Me To Dig My

So Sorry, But No, even Neptune sweats when Prometheus goes for a swim!

Leave His Reformist Ass In The Mountains.

He’ll Have A LONG Time To Think About What He Did,

The Self-Righteous, Ungrateful, Thieving Bitch.

Olympus

To Enlighten

The World, to Be Chained to the Side of a Mountain

Located somewhere in the region of what is now called the

Small Mountain Country of ANDORRA, in the High Hills

Quadrant

He would find his way from Zero to Hero,

From Anonymous to the Head Hieronymus of the

Fable Index.

So it was No Simple Rhyming Matter that by Coincidence’s Double Vision,

Witnessed only by Pegasus & His Winged Nonchalance,

He Met & Fell Beneath the Golden Glossed Sway

Of the Enchanting Pandora.

A Heretofore Well Kept Secret Is That It Were

The Goddesses In Mutiny Who’d Snuck the Torch to Prometheus that Allowed Him to

Broker a New World Created from the Crevices of the Mountains Snaky Granite Shadow.

The ‘Ancien Regime’ was less ‘Regina’ than they’d liked.

And Upon this Being Found Out

By the Lords of the Hallowed Mountain,

The Ladies of the Anguished Lair

Upper Inner Chambers There

Containing the Youthful Fountain

& Their Positions Reduced

And HE would Bear the Brunt of a Collective Decision.

He’d be Taxed Exorbitantly

For Refusing to See things in Reductive terms of Black & White.

BUT,

He did not see himself as Chained to the Mountain.

He saw it that the Mountain was Being Carried by HIM.

The Mountain Needed the Rest & Prometheus Needed the Exercise.

Breaking CHAINS for him was EASY.

Breaking TIES was the More Vexing Task.

And as for the Moratorium Disenabling the Female Contingent of the Olympians,

Naturally Pandora Disassociated herself from the Whole Enterprise.

She did not Proffer Forth Her Power for Committees of Savage Barons to Curtail,

Nor Her Deeds Diced by being Demeaned & Discussed by Dukes & Feckless Earls.

(Neither is She Above using Alibis like the Rest Of Us

& Never Chews her Pearls, Nor Distinguishes Much between a ‘Ciuccio’*

& A Pacifist).

If the Goddesses of the Rainbow Union had Not Yet Seen Themselves

Beyond the Veil of Predicament

Haggling Over their Dominance,

It is One Reason why Pandora Normally gave the Maidens of the Mountain enough Space

To Run into Themselves.

It is Hard to Awaken in Paradise when the Price of Pain is a Yawn.

LEGEND STATES That If A Lover Pleased Pandora,

She favored them with Eternal Life by turning them into Swans

Then Naturally Refused

To KISS HIM!

Perhaps To Amuse her Levitating Sense of Irony & Alleviate her Precarious Boredom,

While Also Daring the FROGMAN to be LESS ASLEEP in the Presence of his Own Dream.

Boring Her Might Be An Even Worse Crime Than Insulting Her.

Just Ask The Satyrs She Turned into Waiters

Whose Volcanic Conniptions Buried Men in Craters

For Not Immersing Her in the Full Depths of their Favors.

Exacting Specifications ONLY to have some SHOWBOAT Armored Space Cowboy

On A White Winged Horse Show Up & SLAY HER BEAST

BEFORE the MONEY He Cost

Was Earned back.

This Damsel had CONTRACTS!

& Now What?

Prometheus in his earnest zeal had interrupted what was a PHOTO SESSION!

After he’d Killed what he Presumed to be her Nemesis & not Meal Ticket,

It had dawned on him like one of his own thunderbolts that she was a

Flaxen Maned Model

Advertising (Oh, I Get It NOW!), ‘A DAMSEL IN THIS DRESS’.

A Massive Payout Later, he was A Wiser Doughboy, if Less Leavened by Yeast.

It took him no time at all to consider that there were just some

Ladies Who Were Not Looking to be Patronized by being

‘Rescued by Anyone’.

They Knew How to Slay their Own Dragons when their Usefulness had been

Outlived.

It also took him no time at all to notice that the beatings he were taking from the Gods was slowly transferring the energy of Mount Olympus back into Prometheus. Point of Fact being that IF HE COULD Withstand the Kingdom’s Brutal Might, he might One Day be Strong Enough to Inherit it.

The Cost of Surviving Our Enemies is Becoming Them.

AND NATURALLY, UPON their realization of this themselves, it was too late,

Time was Closing In on them & Re-Atomizing the Molecular Structure of their Existence.

And as one might expect, ATLAS HAS A CHIP ON HIS SHOULDER THE SIZE OF THE WORLD

He carries while climbing like SISYPHUS kicking gravel back to the steeper realms & forests.

Then Again, Sisyphus himself would One Day Awaken to the Unassailable Fact that Pushing Stones up

Mountains that Already Have Sufficient Amounts of them Already in Abundance WAS Perhaps

Not the MOST Appropriate Use of One’s Time. He could have just as Easily Strategized Chasing

The Ladies &

It may be that Rolling A Stone UP A Mountain Only To Reach the Top & See It Fall

Might be Easier Yet to Achieve than Rolling A Woman Down One,

Only To See Her Leave.

Scheming Like Kissing Cousins While

Dreaming of Boys & Girls

Or Scaring the Horses,

Or Losing Their Voices While the Choir Rehearses

& The Harmonies Lose Course

On The Vicar’s Off Key Verses.

Oh the Lives of Dukes & Earls

(& The Perils of Too Many Nights

& Not Enough Carols

When the Olives are Bigger than the Barrels

Of The Martinis Vested In Flight Mid-Air

& Whose Livers Stay Large

& Whose Kidneys Start Cursing Those

So SHE TOOK To The SKIES

That puts Meat on your Thighs

While The Ducks Are Full of Paradoxes

The Reason Was SIMPLE Why

PANDORA Was MEAN

For SHE Would NEVER BE PRINCESS

& Would ALWAYS Be QUEEN.

HER DIAMOND Heels IN The GRAINS

Their Cheeks more Blushed than Pocked.

Even The Lords of Forgotten Form,

As Long As You Didn’t Have Too Many Questions,

Too Many Haikus Beyond Their I.Q.’s

& Ticket Stubs As I.O.U.’s

To Confuse their Honorable Mentions.

They Keep their Medallions in the Same Cloudbursts

That Shelters their Best Intentions.

Was GIFTED

HIS SPIRIT Was LIFTED

TO FOLLOW THE SUN

Wherever The EARTH

Wobbled

Or The MOON SHIFTED.

HE NEVER SIGHS,

In The Silver Lining Of The Cloud He Rides.

He Is Not Hiding,

But Shielding His Spurs From The Envy

‘I AM NOT WHERE I AM & I AM NOT WHAT I WAS’.

Besides The Privileged personages of Prometheus & Pandora,

Very few people ever got to see Pegasus as a White Winged Horse.

He loved to masquerade as a Black Horse among the many forms this

Shape shifting beast could take to conceal his presence and blend in

Amongst the congregants of whatever pastures or fields he found his

Equine Embodiment Encased in.

He often when called upon, took brief human shape if an urgent message

Needed to be emphasized specifically to someone in the loving care of

Prometheus & Or Pandora, who honored those they favored with divine

Protection & various perks of pleasure.

Despite having literally taken wing as an infant pony on the wind of

Prometheus’ flute & despite the brilliant & radiant saddle of pearls

Made for him by Pandora as an extension of her affection & esteem,

Pegasus needed some ‘ME’ time, a few collected ‘Peggy Sue’ inner ‘I’

Moments, some time away from the demands of both

His creator Prometheus & the Woman who Once Rose from the Fresh Foam

Of the Sea,

With whom he shared his creation,

Both possessing him as passionate parents would a child.

Albeit a child with the heart of an Angel & the temperament of the Devil

At the Crossroads, while in the crosshairs of Saints.

Pegasus would simply take off at times without warning when sensing

That his presence would be more Decorative than Illuminative,

Into the depths of the Zooathalon, far beyond the graphic reach

Of any Zugebrian interference

& Fly to his favorite spot of all, at the foot of the great & grand

Mt.Meru,

The Mountain at the Center of the Universe, located

Upon Earth in a sacred convergence where the 4 eternal fountains

Flow out as the main rivers of the firmament, where Peaceful

Waters Flow, where Glad Is The Knight At Rest At Night &

Particularly where Pegasus can lay down wing,

Let go of the Wind Vexing Calculus in the Frontal Stratum of his Mentals

& Stretch his able & sufficient limbs

Across the grasses the hug the banks with the grip of the blessed

& serene, and where the famed Red Jaguar of magnificent maroon coat.

Would lap the sparkling dancing springs with the long tongue of a Frosted

Feline fulfilled.

Pegasus would hear sirens singing their morning songs to the sun,

And the owls taking messages from the moon, at risk only of being overheard

By the poets who sought solace in the silence of the surreal, at the foot of trees

That never seemed to end.

The Turtles would be Queried to Bequeath the Knowledge of their Ancient Ways

& He while there, would Welcome the Conversations from the TROUT who in particular

Slapped the rivers with the leaps of joy & imagination that only the rush

Of gushing waters at magical altitudes can compel.

One would even find, were they to go to this blessed Mountain,

The fabled Golden Rhinoceros, whose

Color is Pale Translucent Pink, but Whose Horns Are Made of the Purest Gold.

Pegasus, ‘Peggy Sue’ informally to his friends, considered this place

‘AVALON’. He could become an anonymous lizard here and patrol the

River’s bountiful edge in the arch efficient manner in which lizards measure their resources

& available options before embarking on a course of decision.

Their great ability to measure their Plumage as well as their Pluck

& to Act in Accordance with relevant data only without prejudice is the true source of our reverence

For their intelligence.

It Is Well Known Among Them that ADAPTABILITY is the first law of SURVIVAL.

There were indeed other times when Pegasus escaped to be with his close compadres

Who like he straddled the worlds between fiction, myth & whatever small truths the mind can handle,

When portions of the world are being kept from it,

The ‘Unicorns of Antarctica’, that closely guarded continent where many of the ‘extinct’

Species of the Earth Go To ‘Retire’ In Peace,

In That Secluded Heaven Beyond The Walls Of Ice Concealing, Preserving & Protecting It.

It pained him at times that he could at any hour get caught between the enormous

Cauldron of Storm & Stress that engulfed the matter that is Prometheus & Pandora,

Both as Impulsive as the Other was Wise, Both Otherwise Possessed of Quicksilver Minds,

& Even

Quicker Tongues & Both Mindful that Their Powers of Creation Came at A Price

Of Great Responsibility if not at Always for Them Too Great A Cost for Yield.

For there is always a COST versus the PRICE & All Things Measured by the Grand Pendulum of

Space/Time.

And yetter still, both capable of being riled to a state of deviant steam that could reduce the dawns

Of men’s dreams to ruin. To the rubble in the afterwain of a midnight bombers madness.

Although even they understood that the laws were the laws regardless of their levels of rank,

Which implied clearly that what one could not replace, one could not take without inducing

In the process the karmic burden of exchange.

Once granted the powers of creation, ZEUS & the Mother Of Olympus fully expected that

One had to incarnate into the worlds one created, in order to remain in balance with the foundation

Of what one has created. One is not encouraged to abandon worlds once initiated, UNLESS

Circumstances determine loudly otherwise. And the vanity of the Gods precludes the idea that being worshipped & adored is more desirable than being blinded, muted & cursed.

‘CRUCIAL TO UNDERSTANDING ALL, IS PRESUMING NOTHING’.

The history of man & his Gods are a bloody one indeed, and on BOTH sides of the fable’s skin.

More than a few Gods have been ejected from their solemn perches for having been abominations

To their flock, for having egregiously transgressed against the very souls granted life to advance.

Some Gods are sick fucks and have to be reined in.

And yet, despite, there are still Gods who sit atop mountains and sing into the clouds that will rain down upon their children as gradually they stop watching the clock & start looking at time instead.

Prometheus, Having Created the Very World whose Language we now Command

Was More than Capable despite his Historic Equanimity, of Punishment as a form

Of Instruction, as opposed to Abuse.

While sometimes Pandora could be as abusive as a viper because she damn well could.

She herself came through a childhood whose alphabet was formed to defeat her &

In whose letters the corners were burned by abuse,

Leaving around her memories, a sepia tinted blurring, a haze whose edges were parched

& crumbling, a fragment lost with every little portion touched.

The risk of remembering it was the risk of destroying it forever & losing it to the fading fog

That saddles the mind with riddles.

Her magnanimous bosom was legend, deep into the forests & dales, her Perception

& Authority coveted by even the thunderous hoofs of cloven beasts, brazen in their need to praise her & her fertile potions of life

saving chants riveting as accompanied the crickets evening rasp.

YET, get on her wrong side & things get UGLY.

As with women everywhere.

Even Prometheus knew far too well the perils awaiting the poor Populist or Pauline in the metropolis Who

Got between Pandora & Her Need to Wrap her Riveting Wrath in Writhing Ribbons of Blood.

It is bordering the ironic that sometimes Only A Woman can know by nature that there are times

When EVERYTHING needs to bleed.

‘IF WHAT WE KNEW WERE TRUE, WHAT WOULD BE THE POINT OF PURSUING LIFE FURTHER?’

Though a major point of contention between the lovers was Prometheus’ refusal to allow

Pandora to clone his horse, Pegasus divided his duties with them as best he could.

Prometheus had Created Pegasus from a Remnant of the Moon that he had Refashioned &

Shaped for Pandora & the Rest of her Brood & Tribes that her bosoms brought forth from the wilderness when he had been sentenced

By ZEUS to the Earth for his Supposed Transgressions Against the Other Gods of Mt.Olympus.

His disagreement with what he saw as their errant ways caused him much political fallout

& he was told in no uncertain terms by his father & rivals to ‘Get The Hell Out’.

Which was followed by an instantly urgent plea, abetted by Irony from HADES, The Lord Of HELL to ZEUS,

To “Keep That Bastard As Far Away From Me As Possible”,

for

NOTHING about REFORMERS does The Lord of Hell & Death have ANY Plausible Time for,

Nor much in the way of Generosity of Opinion.

And ONLY Out of respect for the fact that Prometheus was the Favorite Bastard Son of God

Was his Life Spared Once Settled away from the Unimpeachable Confines of the Lazy Paradise

That is Mt. Olympus.

Prometheus thought the other Gods had all gotten in essence FAT & ENTITLED, whether in mind,

Body OR Spirit & had become increasingly more of a problem than a solution.

He was raised to believe that the Role of the Gods were to Serve the Furtherance of the Needs of

What Has Been Created & Anointed with Breath & Animation,

That Gods were truly servants of MEN and not the other way assumed.

Naturally, the Other Fellow Immortals mainly thought him a militant threat to the program.

He had found Mercury (Hermes) to be his only real ally, besides Thor & the Goddesses they both held in mutual sway.

He found NEPTUNE unwilling to share his watery purview & as stated earlier, HELL WANTED

NO PART OF HIM.

And so while camped out atop a distant mountain in the area now known as the ATLAS

Mountains, Prometheus began crafting a great companion

To assist in the fulfillment of his Windy Sundry Ways & Swinging Saturday nights.

No matter how wide were the arches that framed his ardent love for his Pandora, he would be damned

If he allowed even ZEUS (but Especially Zeus) to take the blueprint of his most useful design

& turn it into a franchise.

So THERE WOULD BE NO CLONING OF PEGASUS.

Not for anyone.

Price was not the point.

COST was.

And what he cost was too emotional for a price to be affixed & adjourned.

If Heaven Wanted To Share The Idea, They Should Have Come Up With It.

The credit would have gone to someone else anyway, Prometheus knew that.

& ALL TOO WELL.

It was more that the politics of Mt.Olympus made it less a land of opportunity than a land of opportunists.

And She, Pandora of The Precious Pearls, who could craft men from mites could not allow herself to cross the threshold

Of trust between her & Prometheus & bypass courtesy and clone ‘Peggy Sue’

For Her Own Prodigious Advantages.

It was the ONE THING she was forced to share that she did not herself give for the CAUSE of sharing.

THIS annoyed her, but she WORKED with it.

There could in truth only ever be one Pegasus & it was clear that the soul of the original would

ALWAYS remain WITH the original pale pink white pony pressed from the punitive purse

& pulse of Prometheus’ posture while on the mountain plains.

PEGASUS knew intimately BOTH his master’s private predilections.

Pandora’s at times wild, provocative vindictiveness, shrewd cunning

& Her teeth grinding hatred for men in short nylon black socks with even shorter patience.

Any man who survived her in such a case

Would have been carrying his full weight

& THEN some in Sapphires.

She may at times RUN WITH THE WOLVES but most Certainly NOT In Birkenstocks.

This, a woman who when tired will just tilt the world in her favor so that what she needs

Rolls to her instead.

& Then there is Prometheus’ Irrational Fear of & Compulsion to Mock & Unjustly Attack

Very Large Men

In Tight Loafers

With

Tiny Hand Held Dogs

That They Have To Carry.

Made much more poignant if they are wearing suede loafers which ties into a past narrative far too Deep

For All But the Brave

Known only to HE WHO BEARS THE TORCH OF THE WORLD,

& Yet Whose Hands Burn

Less Often than the Eternal Flame of his Heart Does.

And all THIS From A Man Who Runs With Lions For Literature & Reshapes Planets

So That Seahorses May Stretch their Minds to become Men & where Mermaids

This from a God not unknown to say to his favorite horse,

& Who would Brood more than a Mare while Attending his Horse Stables

In Corsica & Sardinia, Lands of Enchantment &

For Pandora, Pegasus Could Be A Fire Breathing Dragon If Required.

Pandora: Being experienced but not yet seen. To be invisible is to be indivisible & only by being ‘felt’ can one truly be ‘seen’.

- WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST FEAR?

Prometheus: ATLAS losing his mind. Can YOU imagine an ATLAS with Alzheimer’s?

Even more, I am embarrassed to say that I retain an irrational fear of large portly men of the type who wear loafers & carry small tiny hand held dogs around. I am not as of yet certain from whence this fear stems. But it is genuine & real.

Other than that I have no particular fear of Hollywood Agents & Executive types ‘Per Se’,

While some of my best friends are in the Music Business!

I HAVE ALWAYS HAD a sense that if I missed out on a RUNNING JOKE the comics would run off with my world.

Pandora: People rediscovering that the world is ‘round’ but not a globe.

It would place in jeopardy several of my most useful enterprises.

I am also fearful of the prospects of losing my copyrights on the MOON that Prometheus designed especially for my tribes & me. With the Zugebrian Time Lords, NOTHING is sacred & an attack is always immanent. ANY human intellectual or spiritual progress is seen by them as betrayal & possibly punishable by death.

- WHICH HISTORICAL FIGURE DO YOU MOST IDENTIFY WITH?

Prometheus: Myself. I did not get to be Prometheus by identifying too heavily with other moody & sullen bitches.

I were also quite fond of Napoleon.

Though his hair was never quite as nappy as Beethoven’s, his ATTITUDE was.

Maybe SAMSON. What he managed to accomplish AFTER I cut his hair as Delilah was nothing short of extraordinary. It in fact inspired Prometheus to elevate him to God status. I am just very happy that my temper was not aroused to the point where I was forced to cut off his balls.

- WHAT IS THE TRAIT YOU MOST DEPLORE IN YOURSELF?

Prometheus: MY ANGER.

It has destroyed entire worlds & has even relocated a tribe or 3.

It is one of the very few creative energies that are often beyond even my control.

Pandora: My Vanity. With it I am weaker. Without it I could never Pandora be. I have less control of it, than it has of me. AND my Memory. The world & I remember far too much & for far too long.

Prometheus: Dying. It is just so rude.

And whatever trait it is that makes people believe that OTHERS have THEIR answers.

The crucial difference between Gods & Men is NOT that the Gods have more ANSWERS than men but fewer QUESTIONS to distract them.

Answers are endless and you can spend the rest of eternity looking for them, the elusive buggers.

Walk away from chasing answers and all that is left is time.

Pandora: A noticeable lack of IRONY & Whatever it is of the self loathing that makes people abuse Children & Animals.

Prometheus: From the beginning seed of an idea, to its germination and completion. And speaking of Germination, I want to reassure my love for the ‘Austrianation’ also. I love ALL my nations all over the wide fruited plains!

Pandora: Riding aback Pegasus, visiting my mother in Paradise. It is an awesome, breathtaking journey, the world & the heavens seen in all of their tangible glory!

I am also partial to the journey that transpires upon me entering your mind and wending my way towards your heart.

- WHAT DO YOU CONSIDER THE MOST OVER-RATED VIRTUE?

Prometheus: Obedience. If you have to teach it, you haven’t earned it.

And ‘Courage’, only cowards care about courage.

Pandora: Introspection. It almost never turns out well does it?

- ON WHAT OCCASION DO YOU LIE?

Prometheus: To the other Goddesses right before Pandora comes over. She is not one for being confined by ‘schedules’ if you know what I mean, and Yes, she DOES pronounce it “Shedules’ like other prominent Anglo elocutionists & their apologists are apt.

I am also prone to a little white lie or 2 if it nets me a gift basket. I have a weakness for gift baskets.

I gave you the WORLD itself. Is a little old gift basket a bit too much to expect as a bit of gratitude?

Pandora: To the other Goddesses before Prometheus comes over. He prefers arriving to a certain ambiance programmed to accommodate his illusions as it concerns OUR affair if you follow me. I love him, so I protect him. And he is always a bit embarrassed when he runs into one of his other bitches in my lair with her hair undone & her gasping within the confines of her cleavage, clasps & cups.

And I am never above lying for a good CREAM. A great moisturizer is certainly worth a little old harmless lie.

Prometheus: This chameleonic thing of mine. My complexion never quite stabilizes.

Pandora: My tits are too big! But I am expected to ‘feed the world’ (blah, blah, blah). Imagine if I hadn’t already given half of it to my good friend Dolly Parton! I should have been named at birth ‘Pandora Goetzer-Titzout’!

It took me a while to train my swans not to nibble on them as after meal treats.

Then again, it isn’t so bad that Prometheus goes mad for them, LOVES them,

Prometheus: Living people cannot handle me despising them as whom I despise ceases to exist.

Pandora: Honey, I didn’t get to be thousands of years old by hanging on to those lower emotions for longer than I need to examine them. Now THAT was my Public Relations answer. If I despise anyone, I simply make them fall in love with me or one my maidens & ruin the plans they had for their lives. It never fails to work.

Prometheus had to ask me to refrain from saying ‘Leaping Lizards’ because every time I did, a few more dinosaurs became extinct.

Prometheus: My Greatest Regret Is Grading The Egrets!

And Failing to remind Noah to get the Unicorns On The Boat. Their places were taken up by the ‘Wooly Mammoths’ & where are those rascals now?

Pandora never forgave me for losing her Unicorns to the ravages of the flood. In exchange for fat furry pachyderms with a penchant for disappearing when the hard work was needed after the flood.

On a more positive note, the ‘Pachyderm-atologist’ made a fortune on the boat.

He even cured a mild skin rash that I had developed helping the animals aboard the ark.

Some of those bitches were feisty.

Pandora: Failing to convince Jesus that his ability to turn water into wine would make distracted alcoholics of his disciples. Did he listen? THEY NEVER LISTEN!

I always knew a few of those guys were suspect.

And I deeply regret not having come up with a ‘Cure for the Incurable Disease of Youth’.

Youth is an age of great discomfort & discombobulating desperados & It seems that surviving it is the only remedy.

And more than anything, I regret SOME OF THE THINGS THAT FELL FROM MY BOX,

INCLUDING REGRET ITSELF.

Prometheus: Pandora. She slays me but she is the little death I must have daily.

Pandora: Pegasus. As for Prometheus, when he is a man, he is not quite enough but when he is a God, he is far too much. What’s a girl to do?

- WHEN & WHERE WERE YOU HAPPIEST?

Prometheus: At the dawn of Earth’s primordial sunrise. Its kind of been downhill after that.

And URANUS after midnight is a pretty safe bet. More comfortable than one might imagine.

Though somehow for most, it seems that getting IN is not quite as simple as getting OUT.

There is a pretty long waiting list to get in.

Pandora: Perhaps several minutes before you came?

I would also like the ability to walk on water. It’s tough, although I am quite proud to say that I HAVE mastered the talent of skating quite comfortably on very, very thin ice.

More practically, SWIMMING. With these humongous fun bags that are my ‘breasticles’ I hover & float more than swim, in fact, if I perchance to burp while in the water, it jet-skis me around the pond like a catamaran with an air leak.

Prometheus: Boiling in its constant roil to even out my toil.

Like a beaver, holding back the waters while tamping down the soil.

Pandora: Very New York & Quite Billy Joel.

Although much better than the time I told off a CYCLOPS & hurt his feelings for looking at me funny before I realized that he was, well…A Cyclops, poor thing.

Prometheus: My Immortality. It is vastly overrated while Mortality is vastly underappreciated.

Pandora: I would become a person more forgiving of all conquering world heroes WHO LOSE MY UNICORNS TO A FLOOD HE KNEW IN ADVANCE WAS COMING, THAT is what I would change. The Unicorns were a gift to me from my mother to keep me company on this wretched pile of rocks called ‘Earth’. Even the Swans refused to speak to me for a while after the flood waters receded & the planet rebooted with everything BUT Unicorns.

- IF YOU COULD CHANGE ONE THING ABOUT YOUR FAMILY WHAT WOULD IT BE?

Prometheus: That my twin brother ‘Prosemetheus’ would stop stealing all my best lines.

Prometheus: The Duke of Earl, a most harmonious & agreeable fellow.

I would say CAPTAIN AMERICA, even though he tries to get away with using his ‘fictional’ status to get out of paying his taxes & gambling debts.

But Fiction or Factions, Superheroes or Submarines; WE ALL GOTTA PAY.

I don’t care if HE is real or not, ONLY that his MONEY is. Like the CHURCH OF ABSTRACT PHYSICS, we accept ALL denominations, as well as all major credit cards!

Pandora: Lady Guinevere. Make no mistake, she RAN that Round Table otherwise full of squares!

Poor King Arthur was off pissed in the woods most of the time.

Prometheus: My father Zeus. We don’t get along, but I admire him more than any other. I know he loves me & that getting rid of me was all politics. I was a sacrifice to the other Gods, those privileged prissy assholes.

I also am quite proud of FIREMEN. But especially after having immortalized themselves in the VILLAGE PEOPLE lineups, which was a very smart vertical move.

By the time Heaven realized the great cost of his absence, Prometheus had grown too used to his own space & the life his shadow created for others on the path of rediscovering their own light.

Although Apollo actually DOES have more than 9, he has learned since about bragging of his totals.

The other groups have been here a lot longer and were asked to assist if willing.

Naturally some were quite reluctant & many were very jealous as they had forgotten what it was like to be showered with the attention assigned to the infants coming up through the process of maturity & growth.

The last ones are always the most spoiled.

Pope Emma: The numbers of the white tribes are in decline. Does that concern you?

PEGASUS: It did initially. Since it shows a corresponding lack of confidence in the program. But I have come to believe that if their numbers are decreasing, it is because THEY want the decrease.

It is THEIR journey. They can have as many or as few of themselves as possible. Once one masters a certain level of fear, being a RARITY becomes more appealing than having to maintain a MAJORITY, which are usually preferred for the protection it provides.

Whatever they decide Lord Prometheus is obliged to respect.

How many of ANYONE do we need to know that they are ‘IN THE HOUSE’ if you will ? And THIS is what they are now getting together.

And for this reason some of your human heroes arrive either fatherless or motherless if you will.

Not for EVERYONE is a father necessarily a good karma. For some YES a great blessing, but for others, a father can be a burden. As can a misaligned mother figure which maketh of a man a misanthrope of misery & a paupers’ pool of pity.

And for those whom no father has intellectually disenfranchised, MUCH POSITIVE PROGRAMMING MAY BE ACHIEVED that meets up with much less force of rebuttal & negative counter programming. Father entities can be quite possessive & may have little mind for higher logic.

At the same time is the reality that, for most beings, the lack of a history would be most unappealing to their journey. I have no journey, only a PATH & STILL A VERY LONG WAY TO GO.

PEGASUS: They always do. The ‘Devil’ (if you will) is jealous of their souls, which they refuse to surrender, so he abuses them.

And to whom hell wishes to dominate, it first confuses. It irks Lucifer that the Venusian tribes know who they are and where they are from. They are a more Zeus friendly crew.

They are CLEAR who their father is & that it isn’t The Devil, which gets up under his pores somewhat & steams him. And since they deny him full possession, he makes sure to deny them the history they have truly created from the mists of the starched pages of forgotten history & earned.

Mind you, this is only a problem in the short term, as for the long term, it is just another level of a recurring dream that will end upon the time it is no longer useful to the overall process of evolution.
