And THAT Virginia, is ONE
way to reduce prison populations
and increase effective community
policing, while greatly de-stressing
our officers in uniform.
….although when there is simply
SO MUCH MONEY
to be made building prisons,
why on earth would you want to REDUCE
anything? CLEARLY, CRIME DOES PAY!
Just not for the poor sap criminals. So the math
favors more laws, so that more butts fill
subsidized building projects which make
a few corporations rich, gambling and betting
on the lives of other men not lucky enough to
have been born rich themselves.
And on their behalf, politicians promote
tougher laws in order to sell more seats.
What do I say? Honestly?
I say fuck 'em all. They'll get theirs,
they always do.
Just like in SCOOBY-DOO.
